Onion Thalippu Vadagam is a traditional South Indian seasoning ingredient made from shallot onions, garlic, and aromatic spices mixed together and sun-dried into small balls. These vadagams are used for tempering (thalippu) in gravies, curries, and kuzhambu, adding a rich traditional aroma and authentic homemade flavor to dishes.

How To Use

  2. Add a small piece of Thalippu Vadagam into the hot oil.
  3. Allow it to fry and release its aroma for a few seconds.
  4. Add the tempering to sambar, rasam, kuzhambu, or curry.
  5. Mix well and enjoy the rich traditional flavor.
